As one of the smallest communities in Monmouth County, Roosevelt truly preserves the small town atmosphere that has been lost in so many other places.
The town, originally founded as the N.J. Homestead, was named after President Franklin Delano Roosevelt to acknowledge his leadership in the creation of the community.
The borough has long been a haven for creative people, boasting several acclaimed artists as proud Rooseveltians.
For artists, professionals, environmentalists, crafts people, farmers and the business community, Roosevelt’s unique character sets it apart from other communities.
