Howell

Mike Emery of Hamilton Township enjoys a morning of ice fishing at the Manasquan Reservoir in Howell.

Located in southern Monmouth County, Howell is the largest of Monmouth County's municipalities, covering more than 60 square miles. The township offers everything from the rural beauty of the Pine Barrens to the most modern suburban conveniences. The scenic Manasquan Reservoir offers nature lovers picturesque views, an abundance of boating and fishing, as well as an Environmental Center.

Development along the Route 9 corridor and the township's central location, midway between New York City and Philadelphia, and its proximity to the Jersey Shore have proved attractive to prospective homeowners and businesses.
